Jacquelyn D. Cook

Biography
Jacquelyn D. Cook serves as Assistant General Counsel at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she provides legal counsel on contracts, compliance, policy development, and institutional risk management.
Before transitioning to higher education, Jacquelyn spent six years practicing civil litigation, representing clients across Louisiana in matters involving commercial disputes, professional liability, insurance defense, and personal injury.
She earned her J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she served on the Louisiana Law Review. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
